Description

This is the 11th book in the Scale Model Handbook series presenting lots of information techniques and tips about modelling miniature figures.

Once again our contributors share their techniques for sculpting and painting their masterpieces and we welcome four new artists: Ju-Won Jung (Box Art – Sculpting Kyle) Ioannis Tsiktsiris (Hidatsa Warrior) Carlos Startin “Carlos FigureArt” (Stalingrad) and Jésus Gamarra (Ottoman Warrior). Jésus did the “Bailen 1808” article in our first Diorama Modelling book but this is his first article in the Figure Modelling series.

Christos Katselos produced the Byzantine Draconarius featured on our cover and Ernesto Reyes Stalhuth wove his magic once again painting the Afghan Tribesman 1842 (a Box Art masterpiece!) and Mike Butler shows how he painted a LRDG New Zealander bust!

We would like to thank all of our contributors for their support and sharing their secrets with us and special thanks must go to Pietro Balloni Luca Marchetti Ken Jones Alex Vallejo Alexey Lucanev and Jon Page!

Also thanks to all of our regular readers for their support for this series of modelling books and the team at Mr Black Publications hope you enjoy our 11th book!
